The CARE project aims to explore and develop new assistive features of a companion robot able to monitor and evaluate physiological and functional parameters of elderly people with multimorbidity and frailty.
The main objective is to create an innovative platform for the continuous monitoring of elderly people with multimorbidity, exploiting cutting-edge ICT technologies, artificial intelligence methodologies and an empathic social robot in a single integrated framework.
Thanks to its implicit ability to integrate data and manage a conversation in a natural way, the social robot can represent an advanced solution to overcome challenges related to usability, quality of life, technological barriers.
