Emotion recognition by EEG and physiological data in patients with schizophrenia: a study with wearable devices

CARE: Empathic robotics for therapy and monitoring

This abstract was submitted to the SIMPE National Congress as a contribution aimed at raising awareness of the clinical potential of social robotics.

Although originally designed for older adults with multimorbidity, the CARE framework — and specifically the PROBOT® social robot — offers features that can be readily adapted to pediatric care, providing clinicians with an empathetic and versatile tool for therapeutic support and the monitoring of similarly vulnerable patient populations.
