Enhancing elderly care through artificial intelligence and social robotics
Organized by the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples Federico II and addressed to pharmacists, the workshop presented the potential of social robotics and integrated digital systems within pharmacy services.
Set up during the initiative promoted by Johnson & Johnson and Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the desk introduced young participants to the contribution of social robotics to the future of medicine and healthcare innovation.
Held in collaboration with the University of Salerno, the seminar explored the role of robotic and AI solutions in supporting care and fostering inclusion.
During the international event held in Naples, the CARE project was presented to experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world, contributing to the discussion on emerging frontiers in Social Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
The final public dissemination event for the CARE project was held on November 26, 2025, in the Aula Magna of the University of Naples Parthenope. The event presented the project's activities, objectives, and main results. It was a key opportunity to share the results achieved and foster discussion on the role of social robotics and artificial intelligence in elderly care.
